When you review the various coaching certification programs out there, you will want to find out several things:
- Verify if the program you are considering has a solid track record for creating successful coaches.
- Look for a program led by someone who can demonstrate that they’ve helped many people create successful life-coaching businesses. If the only success this person can point to is their own, start looking elsewhere.
- You also want to choose a coaching certification program that will give you everything you need to serve your client and scale your business.
Early in my life, I was taught that everything is created twice… once in thought, and then in reality. After 40 years of study, I’ve found that every single person can experience a transformation when they apply specific tools available to anyone, but often unlearned.
Building a successful, sustainable coaching business relies on the consistent success of your clients.
Look for a program that can give you access to a proven, reliable and repeatable system of transformation for your clients AND a step-by-step business model that you can follow to grow your business. The latter is what I call an “economic engine.”
Plenty of coaching certification programs can teach you how to coach clients, but in order for you to be successful, you also need access to proven tools, training and systems that will help you attract and enroll clients and generate income.
Lastly, look for a coaching certification program led by someone whose worldview matches your own. You want someone who actually cares about you and your success – someone who is willing to teach you and work with you to master a system of transformation.
To review, be sure to look for a coaching certification program that meets all of these three criteria:
- It has a solid track record for creating successful life coaches
- It gives you access to a proven, reliable and repeatable system of transformation for your clients AND a step-by-step business model that you can follow to attract clients and grow your business
- It’s led by someone whose worldview matches your own

A Taste of the Possibilities: Stacy’s Life Coaching Success Story
“About three years ago, I woke up one morning and realized that I didn’t want to go to work. That was unusual for me, because I was normally one of those people that actually jumped out of bed in the morning… I loved my job! But in that moment, I realized I was ready for a change.
