Some Life Coaches, in the beginning of their career, make a very common mistake. They set up their business in such a way that they can’t make a living unless they burn themselves out, and no matter how much they love their work in the beginning, they eventually end up overworked and frustrated.

It all depends on the way you serve your clients.
When you think about Life Coaching, do you think about teaching people one at a time? Are you planning to get together with your clients, either in person or over the phone or internet, to work with them, one-on-one, how to build their ideal life?
While it’s true that one-on-one coaching is powerful, if you build your entire business using that business model, you will always be trading hours for dollars. If you take a vacation, you aren’t getting paid, and if you want to make more money, you have to raise your fees or work more hours.
This method of coaching also severely limits your impact; there are only 24 hours in each day, and even if you spend all day coaching, you’ll never be able to help nearly as many people as I know you want to serve.
That’s why it’s essential to have a group program.
When you have a program that multiple people can use simultaneously, the limits on your income and impact disappear.
You create the ability to serve – and get paid by – hundreds of people at a time, without spending all day working. And you also become able to offer the same quality of service for a lower price, because you’re getting paid by more people for the same amount of effort.
Does creating a group program require more work up front than going straight to 1-on-1 coaching?
