Story #1: My Granddaughter’s Profound Question and My Answer
A few years ago I was visiting Disneyland with my granddaughter Allie who was about 7 at the time. And she really wanted to ride the big rollercoaster. As it turned out when we reached the sign, she was actually tall enough to get on!
But she began to worry. The rollercoaster was really scary. She saw the big loop up there and decided she wouldn’t do it. But then she changed her mind again. She really wanted to ride it!
Finally, Allie turned to me and asked me one of the most brilliant questions I’ve ever heard. “Grandma, how do you get yourself to think so that the part of you that wants to go forward can win over the part that’s afraid?”
What a great question for a person of any age!
I talked to Allie about how to take a deep breath to help release the fear. And I told her that courage is moving your feet in the direction of what you would love — even in the presence of fear.
If what you would love is to activate your coaching dream — even if you don’t know how, or their is a part of you that is afraid of making the leap, I encourage you to just move your feet by taking the first step.
Here’s another story, a similar kind of story about a grown-up.
Felicia Searcey wanted to be a life coach. But she was afraid to ask people for money. And she was afraid of what other people would think. She was working another job at the time, with a deep longing to coach people. She wanted to help guide people into their best lives and make a great living doing it. But the fear came up. She was afraid to make the leap.
Well, luckily, Felicia decided to get more interested in her dream than in her fear. And she took the leap to become a certified Life Mastery Institute coach. It was a big leap for her because she was struggling with money and yet she wanted to be a prosperity coach.
But because she moved her feet in the direction of what she would love, now she’s making over 6-figures as a speaker teacher coach! She’s traveling and speaking with clients all over the USA.
It didn’t happen overnight for her. But she was dedicated. And most importantly, she broke through that wall of fear to the fun on the other side.
All through taking the first step.
As you get more interested in what you would love rather than what you are afraid of, ask yourself what one step could I take today?
That one step for Felicia was to talk to a Life Mastery Institute enrollment mentor and that mentor supported her, and got her involved in what she would love.
And though this kind of success doesn’t happen to everyone, what we see is that the kind of enthusiasm and attention you put in will create the results you get out.
What you want is always on the other side of what’s scary. All you have to know is what you would love to do and don’t worry about the how, we will show you how and take care of that for you.
That’s what DreamBuilder coach certification gives you – a platform for success. It’s not just a coaching program, it’s actually a proven business model, so you can enroll clients, and earn money right away.
Take the first step and speak with an enrollment mentor. You’ll be so happy you did!
